The founders of NovaNet have a distinguished track record in founding and managing health care companies.

President/CEO
Richard F. Morgan has over twenty years in the healthcare industry. He was formerly President and Chief Executive Officer of Financial Health Services. Financial Health Services is a business unit of First Data Corporation. FHS provides management services to over 150 hospitals throughout the United States. The company specializes in the out-sourcing of hospital receivables. Mr. Morgan was also with HBO & Company for five years, serving as Vice President of the Physician Services Division. He was Executive Vice President and one of the founders of Artrac, a software company supplying systems and services to hospitals nationally. Mr. Morgan spends his time in operations, sales and marketing and strategic direction for the company.

Vice President of Network Operations
Lisa Nickell has over fifteen years experience in marketing, management, and client service. After a career in the market research industry, she joined NovaNet in 2001 as Provider Relations Coordinator, then moved into the Manager of Network Development role and most recently worked in the Director of Network Services capacity. In her current role, Ms. Nickell is responsible for developing and maintaining client relationships, implementing and supporting employer groups, and overseeing the Network Development, Provider Relations, and Claims staff. She has a Bachelor of Business Adminstration degree in Marketing from Belmont University in Nashville, TN.

Director of Business Development
Jordan Morgan joined NovaNet in 2009 as the Director of Business Development. Jordan has over 6 years of sales experience and spent the past 5 years selling Medical Equipment to Acute Care and Long-Term Care Facilities. His focus will be on generating new business from both new and existing clients, as well as developing and maintaining relationships with clients. Jordan has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Marketing from the University of Georgia.

• Provider Contracting Coordinator
  Michelle Schwei joined NovaNet in 2006 after a career in the senior living field. She is responsible for gathering credentialing information on physicians and facilities, and she is part of the Credentialing Committee for NovaNet’s directly contracted network. Mrs. Schwei also maintains provider data and is involved in network development. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater with a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations degree.
• Claims Department Supervisor
  Anela Zukanovic joined NovaNet in 2002 as a claims processor. She has since moved into the role of Claims Department Supervisor where her responsibilities include resolution of claims issues, implementation of claims policies and procedures and management of claims processing.

Manager of Network Development
Melissa Howard has over twenty years of experience in the insurance industry. She joined the NovaNet team after serving as the Director of Operations for a fully insured insurance carrier in South Carolina. In addition to being responsible for the daily operations, she oversaw all new product and vendor implementations. Melissa also has experience in the auto liability and worker's compensation insurance fields. Her focus at NovaNet is developing new product lines, enhancing existing business, and managing NovaNet's nationwide Affiliate Network. Ms. Howard graduated from Winthrop University in Rock Hill, SC, with a Bachelor of Science degree.

Network Development Specialist
Robert Loew joined NovaNet in 2007 as a Network Development Specialist. Robert has developed his strengths in marketing, management, and client relations through his time working with troubled youth in a non-profit organization and as a marketing director in the senior living field. His focus is on the expansion of NovaNet’s network within various product lines and developing network relationships with providers.

Information Services Director
Melody Alexander has over nineteen years experience in Information Systems. She has worked several hardware and software platforms and she specializes in all aspects of data management and data flow. Melody joined NovaNet in November of 2000. Her main responsibilities include maintaining the database of NovaNet providers and managing the data flow between all parties involved. Mrs. Alexander has a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Louisiana Tech. University. She resides in Lawrenceville, Georgia

Information Systems Coordinator
Mandy Gillis has over 7 years of experience in managed care. She joined NovaNet in 2007 and is responsible for database management, data development and reporting. Mrs. Gillis has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Southern Wesleyan University and a Health Science Associates degree in Health Information Management from Midlands Technical College. She is a Registered Health Information Technician credentialed by the American Health Information Management Association.
